C to A Grade Guarantee – Terms & Conditions

1. Overview of the Guarantee

Tutor Network offers a C to A Grade Guarantee for eligible students enrolled in the 60-day Grade Guarantee Program.

This guarantee applies to students who commence the program with a C-grade result and commit fully to the program requirements. If all conditions are met and the student does not achieve an A-grade result in the agreed subject area, Tutor Network will provide a refund or credit in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

This guarantee is designed for students who actively engage, apply consistent effort, and follow the tutoring and independent study process as prescribed.

2. Eligible Subjects

This guarantee applies exclusively to:

• English
• Mathematics

The guarantee does not apply to:

• Advanced subjects
• Accelerated subjects
• Extension subjects
• Specialist or enrichment programs

3. Definition of the 60-Day Program

For the purpose of this guarantee:

• The program duration is 60 days, commencing from the date of the student's first tutoring session
• The 60-day period is defined as 8 consecutive weeks
• The program requires 2 tutoring sessions per week
• A total of 16 tutoring sessions must be completed within the 8-week period

All sessions must be completed within the defined timeframe. Missed, cancelled, or rescheduled sessions that result in fewer than 16 completed sessions will void eligibility for the guarantee.

4. Baseline Academic Level

The student's starting academic level must be within the C-grade range prior to commencing the program.

The baseline grade will be determined using one or more of the following:

• A Tutor Network diagnostic assessment
• A recent school-issued assessment or report
• Other agreed academic evidence relevant to the subject

The target outcome for the guarantee is progression from a C-grade range to an A-grade range based on the student's school grading framework.

5. Student Eligibility Requirements

To remain eligible for the C to A Grade Guarantee, the student must meet all of the following requirements:

• Attend all scheduled tutoring sessions
• Actively participate and engage during each session
• Complete all assigned homework, practice tasks, and revision activities to the best of their ability
• Follow the tutor's recommended study strategies and learning plan
• Sit all relevant assessments related to the agreed subject area
• Maintain consistent effort and engagement throughout the full 8-week period

Failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in the guarantee being null and void.

6. Parent or Guardian Responsibilities

Parents or guardians are responsible for:

• Ensuring the student attends all scheduled sessions
• Supporting the completion of homework and independent study
• Ensuring the student completes the required assessment within the specified timeframe

Where lack of parental support materially impacts attendance, preparation, or assessment completion, eligibility for the guarantee may be voided.

7. Assessment Requirement

To assess eligibility under the guarantee:

• A relevant academic assessment must be completed within 14 days of completing the 60-day program
• The assessment must be one of the following:
  • A Tutor Network diagnostic or exit assessment, or
  • A school-issued assessment, test, exam, or report aligned to the subject and curriculum covered during the program
• Formal evidence of the result must be provided

Assessments completed outside the 14-day window, or assessments unrelated to the program content, will not be eligible for consideration.

8. Definition of C to A Grade Improvement

C to A grade improvement refers to a measurable progression from a C-grade range at baseline to an A-grade range, as defined by the student's school grading framework.

Grading interpretations will be based on official school standards rather than percentage comparisons across different schools or systems.

While Tutor Network has helped many students achieve rapid improvement, outcomes depend on engagement, effort, and adherence to the program.

9. Refund or Credit Conditions

If the student:

• Completes the full 8-week / 16-session program
• Meets all eligibility and engagement requirements
• Completes an eligible assessment within 14 days
• Does not achieve an A-grade result

The parent or guardian may choose one of the following:

• A refund of the tutoring fees paid for the 60-day Grade Guarantee Program, or
• The equivalent value as credit for future Tutor Network tutoring services

Refunds or credits apply only to fees paid for the Grade Guarantee Program period.

10. Exclusions

The C to A Grade Guarantee does not apply where:

• Sessions are missed, cancelled, or not completed
• Homework or independent study is not completed to a reasonable standard
• The student disengages, resists participation, or fails to apply effort
• External factors materially affect performance, including illness, extended school absences, curriculum changes, or assessment conditions outside Tutor Network's control
• Learning difficulties, diagnosed or undiagnosed, materially impact academic outcomes beyond reasonable academic support

11. One-Time Use Limitation

The C to A Grade Guarantee may only be claimed once per student.

12. Good Faith and Determination

This guarantee is offered in good faith to families who commit fully to the program as designed.

Tutor Network reserves the right to determine eligibility based on attendance records, tutor feedback, documented engagement, and assessment evidence.
